This is the Very first Kentuck. The 001 in the serial number means it is the prototype and first one ever made in this style. There will be many more of these beautiful knives produced and sold, but there will never be another numbered 1!

It’s the second in the Frontier Series and is intended as a compact, large to medium game skinner. The blade deign is just like the 2000 Skinner hidden tang drop point skinner, but with a full tang. If you like full tang designs, you’ll love the feel of this one. The balance and heft are incomparable, but it’s compact design make it comfortable enough to carry everyday. It has American black walnut scales with pinned brass guards.
