This is the first ever Custom Original! The 001 indicates it is the first ever produced. It's the same basic design as the Original Skinner with a couple tweaks. The blade is the same size and drop point shape only with a very effective saw back for clearing branches from shooting lanes and a gut hook to speed up skinning. It also has a finger grip guard and handle like the Skinner and Skinner II. It has a through tang design, which means the handle is held together in a stacked fashion by a socket head bolt through the brass butt cap. This one has Osage orange and Gaboon ebony handles with brass hilt and bolsters. There will be more Custom Originals produced...but there will never be another Number 1
