This is a knife inspired by the legends of Jim Bowie. It's a small bowie. Not the beastly 15" fighting machine that Jim Bowie carried. But, it does incorporate most of Bowie's design and even a couple of the myths.
The name Star Child comes from the legend that it was forged from a piece of meteorite. It has a double bolster and wide hilt so it's harder to take out of the hand by an opponent. And the blade has a false double edge and blood grove.
